About the Showcase Director
Ron Coleman is the camp director of the Academic All West Showcase and
the Prospect Review (Seniors Camp). Ron has also created the one of
the top basketball tournaments in the Southwest United States, the
Southwest Showcase Basketball Events. The Summer Championships
tournament brings in over 170 teams.
In addition to his tournament experience, Ron has coached numerous
AAU youth teams in the Phoenix area. Ron has developed a network of
contacts through the west coast through his running tournaments,
coaching AAU teams and he was involved in his own son's recruiting the
past couple of years.
Ron is a basketball analyst and writer for www.arizonavarsity.com. The
top Rivals site in Arizona.
Marques Coleman is currently a sophomore player at Brown University.
He was recruited by all Ivy League schools as well as several Patriot
League schools and many other top academic institutions.
