Next Level Hoop Dreams / AZ Hawks (1/4/11)
The NLHD Hawks are looking to add a few players to their competitive 14u team. The Hawks pride
themselves on their intense training, ( plyometrics) their practice facilities,( high school main Gym)
and equipment. (Shooting Machine) Coach Dave Stutzman is currently a High school Varsity and JV
coach, certified thru the National Federation of High School Coaches, NCAA approved coach and
NCAA approved event coordinator. Dave has been coaching for 15 years in the state of Arizona
taking local talent to the top tournaments with great success. The AZ Hawks have first place and top
5 finishes in Arizona and out of state. The Hawks are able to play out of state tournaments by doing
fund raising to keep club cost lower than everyone, Guaranteed ! Hawks players must be committed,
to team play, and individual improvement. Team rosters are kept low to insure equal participation and
development. There are 3 spots open for this 9 man roster. Dont wait these spots will fill.

Last year NLHD had 4 teams. 14u 15u JV and Varsity. They played in San Diego, and Anaheim and local
tournaments.
At the end of this years regular high school season those teams will start again. NLHD can assist with
players who are in need of recruiting and scouting services or information. If you have questions or

TRY-OUTS
The Arizona Eagles will be holding tryouts in early December for our 6th Grade Boys Travel Team. A
good part of our roster is already set but we do still have a few openings.. We pride ourselves in low
player to coach raitos and in the quality and use of our practice facilities. Our focus is on individual
fundamental skill development applied to a team concept. The team will practice/train twice a week
and will play in the most competitive leagues and tournaments locally as well as in selective out of
state tournaments. Players this year will also have the opportunity to work with the newest addition
to our coaching staff, shooting Coach John Townsend. Coach Townsend spent the last 3 years as
the shooting coach of the Portland Trailblazers and has worked with such distinguished players such
as Jerryd Bayless, Brandon Roy, Steve Blake and LaMarcus Aldridge. We are thrilled to have him
working with our players. Our 6th Grade Travel Team will be coached by Amp Lee. Coach Lee is
entering his second season as a Head Coach with the Arizona Eagles. Coach Lee played both
Division I Basketball and Division I Football at Florida State University. He was a former runner up Mr.
Basketball in the State of Florida as a High School Senior. Coach Lee had a distinguished 9 year
career in the National Football League and he is also the Running Backs Coach of the Las Vegas

We will be having try outs on Saturday August 21st. from 11am-2pm at AZ Charter Academy 16011
North Dysart Rd. Surprise 85374. Were looking for Elite and Developmental players who are looking
to improve their overall game. We are a discipline and organized organization, where were building
our very competitive teams looking to add key players to our Elite teams to really complete those
teams. Try outs for 11-14u boys! We will have both Elite and developmental teams. Elite teams will
travel out of state to tournaments going to Virginia, Texas, Vegas, Cali, New Mexico, Colorado. Our
teams are tops in AZ looking for players to get the experience they need to get ready for High School

in an environment of positive reinforcement and fun. The Arizona Future is a 501(c)3 Non Profit organization that gives the

YMCA SELECT (9/27)
The YMCA Select will be hosting tryouts for their 11u team on Sunday October 4th at the Glendale/Peoria YMCA from 2pm –
4pm. They will also be holding tryouts throughout the month of October. Contrary to what other teams might say this truly is
the best team in the state of Arizona at their age level. The team is coming off a successful 2008-2009 season which included
13 tournament Championships and a National Youth Basketball Championship runner up. The worst the team did the entire
season was a second place finish. Our team is looking for dedicated and hard working individuals that are looking to
compete at a high level. The Select program requires no club fees or monthly dues. For questions or concerns please

scrimmages, tournaments, conditioning, speed training, weight lifting and just teaching an overall understanding of the game
of basketball. If you are wanting more then all your friends that play club basketball, the Arizona Future Basketball Club is the

The AZ Prowlers Basketball Club/Northwest Basketball Academy, will be holding tryouts for players aged 8-14 to fill roster
spots for our newly formed 9U-14U teams. We are the premiere youth basketball program in the Northwest Valley currently
staffed with coaches with over 20 years of Youth/High School coaching and Division I college and professional playing
experience. We just completed our first AAU season with overwhelming success and achievement!
We are looking for both AAU experienced and non-experienced players. This is a great opportunity for your son or daughter to
join a new club basketball program while being trained and developed to prepare to play for the Valley's best high school
programs and beyond!
Try-outs will be held Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. @ Willow Canyon High School Basketball Gym, 17901 West
